Grub

Grub is an earth spirit.

Made of mud and grass.

Twigs and SNAIL SLIME.

Born wrapped in roots and worms.

Not quite animal. Not quite plant either. I wouldn’t even say he’s a bug. Though, I know he speaks their language. Mushrooms call him cousin. He whispers to lichen.

Grub is Fate Greenhouses soil expert. He makes sure the good bugs are in and the pests are out. Tending to crop production, soil control, and soil management. He tries to find ways to maximize crop production, while also performing experiments to determine and then maximize plant nutrients and soil health. This guy knows his stuff! He loves his work and he loves his Lady!

Not long after Grub started work at Fate Greenhouses, he brought the love of his life along, Slug! She’s now our floral expert.
