Rebus the Garden Spider
Rebus is in charge of pest control! She keeps all of our mandrakes free from spider mites, aphids, slugs, you name it. Fate Greenhouses are totally organic. A key part of that is the absence of harmful chemicals found in many pesticides and herbicides. Rebus allows us to stay totally natural. Her work not only benefits the mandrakes, but she is supporting important pollinators as well! Insects like bees and butterflies are the number one victims of pesticide use and with Rebus’s help, we can be an advocate for the environment!
Not only is Rebus a prized member of Fate Greenhouses, She is a fierce muy thai fighter and incredible story teller. She spins the most beautiful tales while rolling tobacco and dogwood cigarettes and swirling cinnamon sticks in vanilla bean tea. You see, Rebus is a well rounded gal. Her mother was the famous Miss Spider who sailed the seas with that little boy James and his giant peach. Her Grandmother was Charlotte. You know the one. That literate spider who befriended the pig up in Maine.
