Turtle Tooth, Turtle Tooth, Turtle Tooth!
Turtle Tooth is a beast from the swamp. His kind can be found in marshes and slow moving rivers. Wetlands and shallow waters. Turtle Tooth has gnashing teeth and a razor sharp armor. A shell heavy on his back. This all might seem terribly imposing but Turtle Tooth’s crowded grin is perfect for cracking open oysters and freshwater clams not skulls and bones. His razor sharp shell is a protection from snapping turtles and boat motors and nothing more.
Turtle Tooth was found in the wet meadows of the upper peninsula in northern Michigan. His habitat was being threatened by land development and pollutants draining into the coastal marshes.
The menagerie was happy to take him in but nobody was happier than Gruff. Turtle Tooth and Gruff were best friends immediately upon meeting.
